ABOUT JOHN ADAMS ASSOCIATES
JAA was established in the early 1970s to help American business and industry understand and successfully work with the many new federal agencies created during that period – from the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. For both government officials and business executives, the processes and lines of authority were often unclear.
With a staff experienced in the ways of federal agencies and Capitol Hill, as well as the private sector, JAA was able to provide invaluable guidance to both sides on the key issues, the preparation of necessary documents, executive meetings, and public and congressional hearings. Soon, leading corporations, associations and federal agencies were coming to JAA for advice and assistance, including the preparation and distribution of Congressional testimony and organization of technical briefings for the media.
JAA has now guided and supported its clients through eight presidential administrations and more than 30 sessions of Congress – one of the longest and most successful records of achievement of any consulting firm on the Washington scene.
